Eaux sombres

En 2016, j’ai co-réalisé le clip d’“Eaux Sombres”, premier single de l’album Mona d’Emily Loizeau, avec Cyril Teste. Ce projet explore les tensions entre lumière et obscurité, renforçant les thèmes mélancoliques du morceau.

Le clip mêle simplicité et puissance visuelle, avec des éléments naturels comme l’eau et les ombres qui dialoguent avec la voix d’Emily, pour une expérience sensible et immersive.

In 2016, I co-directed the music video for “Eaux Sombres”, the first single from Emily Loizeau’s album Mona, alongside Cyril Teste. The video explores contrasts between light and shadow, amplifying the song’s melancholic themes.

The clip combines simplicity and visual power, with natural elements like water and shadows interacting with Emily’s voice to create a sensitive and immersive experience.

    En 2016, j’ai co-réalisé le clip d’“Eaux Sombres”, premier single de l’album “Mona” d’Emily Loizeau, en collaboration avec Cyril Teste. Ce projet a été une véritable immersion dans l’univers singulier de l’artiste, où chaque étape – conception, cadrage, réalisation et montage – a été pensée pour traduire visuellement la profondeur et la poésie du morceau.

    Avec une esthétique à la fois minimaliste et évocatrice, le clip explore les tensions entre lumière et obscurité, renforçant les thématiques du texte et de la musique. Chaque plan, chaque mouvement de caméra, a été conçu pour accompagner la voix d’Emily Loizeau, tout en laissant une place importante à l’imaginaire et à l’interprétation personnelle du spectateur.

    Le processus créatif a été enrichi par la richesse musicale de l’album, arrangé par Olivier Koundouno, Csaba Palotaï et Emily Loizeau, et magnifié par la réalisation sonore de Renaud Letang. Le résultat est une œuvre où la musique et l’image se répondent, offrant une expérience sensorielle et immersive.

    In 2016, I co-directed the music video for “Eaux Sombres”, the lead single from Emily Loizeau’s album Mona, in collaboration with Cyril Teste. This project was an immersive dive into the artist’s singular universe, where every stage—concept development, framing, direction, and editing—was carefully crafted to visually convey the depth and poetry of the song.

    With an aesthetic that is both minimalist and evocative, the video explores the interplay between light and shadow, amplifying the themes of the lyrics and the music. Each shot and camera movement was designed to accompany Emily Loizeau’s voice while leaving space for the viewer’s imagination and personal interpretation.

    The creative process was deeply enriched by the album’s musical richness, arranged by Olivier Koundouno, Csaba Palotaï, and Emily Loizeau, and brought to life by the masterful sound production of Renaud Letang. The result is a work where music and imagery resonate with one another, offering a sensory and immersive experience.
